Dr Giuseppe Femia – Cardiologist

Dr Femia graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School with Honours before completing cardiology training at Wollongong and Liverpool Hospitals. He then completed three further years of sub-speciality fellowship training at Liverpool Hospital in interventional cardiology and cardiac device implantation. Dr Femia is passionate about research and teaching, with significant academic contributions and peer reviewed publications. He completed his PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow, being mentored by a world-renowned expert in cardiac magnetic resonance. He is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University.
