Dr Gui du Toit graduated from medical school at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1981. After two years compulsory military service as a doctor in the South African and Namibian outback, he continued his post graduate training in the departments of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cranio-Facial Surgery; General Surgery; Obstetrics and Anaesthetics at the Medical Universities of Stellenbosch, Cape Town and Pretoria in South Africa.
Prior to immigrating to Australia in 2009, he spent 10 years in rural Canada as a specialist (Proceduralist) GP during which time he obtained the Canadian medical degrees: LMCC and CFPC. During the last five years in Australia he obtained the FRACGP as well as Diplomas in Skin Cancer Medicine and Cosmetic Medicine.
He is passionate about the anti-ageing benefits of physical training, a healthy lifestyle and wonderful results of non-surgical facial rejuvenation with little or no down time versus surgical interventions with longer down time. He is an avid fitness fanatic and has done two Canadian Ironman races as well as many Olympic distance triathlons. He is a keen concert pianist and enjoys the artistic power of classical music.
