Dr Tharuka Bodaragama

Tharuka completed her medical studies at the University of Sydney and worked at Westmead Hospital and a number of regional centres prior to specialising in primary care. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has worked as a rural GP in Western New South Wales and at a number of locations in the South and Inner West of Sydney. Tharuka enjoys all aspects of primary care and places great value on the education and empowerment of her patients. She has a special interest in women’s health, chronic disease management, men's health, sexual and reproductive medicine and mental health, and she completed the Sydney Child Health Program. She is registered for Implanon insertion and the medical termination of pregnancy.
