Dr Madhusha Karunaratne

Dr Karunaratne graduated from the University of Newcastle and completed her residency at Westmead Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She has also worked as a senior resident medical officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology where she had gained experience in antenatal care, contraception and women’s health. She holds a Diploma of Child Health and a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. She enjoys listening to and appreciating each of her patients unique stories so as to deliver personalised and evidence based health care. Special Interests: She enjoys paediatrics, antenatal care, contraception, women’s health, chronic disease management and mental health. Personal Interests: Travelling and spending time with her family and friends – especially her baby daughter.
