Practice Fees

Private Fee Changes

Fee changes will occur from 1st July 2024 to maintain an environment where we can provide you with the quality of service you deserve. We aim to keep your overall out-of-pocket expense to a minimum, while maintaining the highest possible standard of care. Discounted fees are only available during the week for Pensioner card holders and Children under 16 years.

We still want to maximise accessibility for our patients. Therefore patients that hold a current pension or health care concession card and children under 16 will be charged a reduced fee.

The fee structure has been simplified to minimise out of pocket expenses for most appointment types. The gap fee will increase slightly if the appointment is longer than 40 minutes. Children under 16 years of age will be charge a reduced fee ($20 less than the adult fee).

Weekends and Public Holidays

Consultations on Weekends and Public Holidays are privately billed for all patients. This includes pension or health care concession card holders; and children under the age of 16 years

Telehealth Appointments

Medicare rules dictate that new patients and patients who have not attended the practice for a face-to-face consult within the last 12 months will not be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for their telehealth consult. If you have not attended the practice within the last 12 months, you will be charged the full private fee.

This excludes:
  • People under the age of 12 months
  • People who are experiencing homelessness
  • People who have received a stay-at-home order from NSW government due to COVID

Non Attendance Policy

Please note that a Non-Attendance Fee of $50 is payable if a patient does not attend their appointment or if the appointment is cancelled with less than two hours notice.

Vaccines & Procedural Fees

For all vaccination and procedural costs please ask one of our friendly receptionists. Your doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent prior to receiving treatment. Travel vaccines will also incur a private fee for the purchase of the vaccine as they are not covered by Medicare.

Medical Assessments

Pre-employment medical assessments and other medical assessments are usually privately billed. The cost will depend on the length and complexity of the medical assessment. Our reception team are able to give a price guide, but final cost will be determined by the doctor.

Medical Records Transfer

Transferring full medical records attracts a small $40 excl. GST administration fee.

Please contact our friendly reception team if you have any questions regarding fees by calling 02 8320 8888.
