Nuvo Health is committed to ensuring our patient’s personal information is securely and professionally managed in accordance with all Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as current on 12 October 2026.
Our Privacy Policy is revised on a regular basis in line with the Office of the Australian Information Commission (OAIC) regulations.
Our medical centres collect personal and sensitive health information from you to provide high-quality medical care. This information may include your medical history, contact details, Medicare number, and billing information. We only collect information that is strictly necessary for your treatment and ongoing care.

Use and Disclosure

Your health information is treated as strictly confidential. It will only be used or disclosed for purposes directly related to your care, such as:
• Consultations and treatments within the practice.
• Referrals to specialists, pathology labs, or medical imaging services.
• Billing, Medicare claims, and health fund processing.
• Fulfilling statutory requirements (e.g., infectious disease notifications).
• For medico-legal purposes (with your consent)

You have the right to request access to your medical records or ask for corrections if you believe the information is inaccurate or out of date. Please contact our Practice Manager to facilitate this process.

Email Security Notice

While we take extensive measures to protect your privacy, data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed as 130% secure. Any information you submit via your personal email address is sent at your own risk. For highly sensitive medical inquiries, please contact our clinic directly by telephone.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are visited and how people arrive at our site. This information is collected in aggregated, anonymised form: IP addresses are anonymised, we do not collect information about specific health services you view, and we do not use this data for advertising or to identify or target individuals. Google may process this data outside Australia. You can opt out of Google Analytics using your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tool. Appointments booked through our HotDoc booking system are governed by HotDoc’ s privacy policy.
