Medical Receptionist Full time/Part time

Medical Receptionist – Permanent Full Time OR Part Time will be considered for the right person.

About the role

Our busy GP clinic in Lane Cove, Sydney, is currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and empathetic Medical Receptionist to work full time (part time can be considered for the right person)

You will perform a variety of administrative tasks and have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient flow
  • Handling patient enquiries and providing accurate information
  • Assisting with patient registration and data entry
  • Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
  • Providing support to the medical team as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with medical administration policies and procedures

About you

You will thrive working in a busy environment, problem solving and multi-tasking. You will possess good customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail when it comes to accuracy and sensitivity in handling patient information. Your phone manner is always pleasant, you communicate clearly over the phone, and you show care to others. You enjoy working in a team environment, are adaptable to changing workflow and are process orientated.

The ideal candidate will have

  • flexibility
  • experience in a medical reception role
  • Best Practice experience preferred, although not essential
  • a love of a fast-paced, busy environment
