Dr Michele Ferguson

Michele completed her combined Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine/Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales in 2015. She completed her internship and residency at Prince of Wales Hospital with subsequent training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital in Intensive Care Medicine before she moved into GP. She has also completed secondments and locum work throughout rural and regional hospitals in NSW across a variety of medical and surgical specialties, and worked with the Aboriginal Local Health Service in western Sydney. Michele enjoys all aspects of primary care with a particular interest in preventative healthcare, metabolic health and wellbeing, reproductive and sexual health, and chronic disease management. She holds further certifications in Paediatrics (Diploma of Children's Health - Highly Commended) and is an MS-2-Step certified prescriber. In her time outside work, Michele enjoys writing, music and travel.
