Dr Victor Yan

Dr Yan graduated from the University of New England in 2013 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2018. He worked at Blacktown, Hornsby, and Westmead Hospital as a medical registrar before undertaking his General Practice Training in 2017. He enjoys all aspect of general practice and is particularly passionate about preventative health care and developing good long term relationships with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. His other roles include being a GP Supervisor for GP registrars and medical students, Antenatal Shared Care (ANSC) GP for RPA and Canterbury Hospital, and an Urgent Care Doctor for Medicare Urgent Care Clinics. Dr Yan also has a special interest in occupational medicine and has experience in treating worker's compensation and motor vehicle (CTP) injuries as well as conducting pre-employment and screening medical assessments. He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Rail Industry Worker Authorised Health Professional (AHP) for rail safety assessment, and an AMROA accredited Medical Review Officer (MRO) for corporate clients.
