Dr Yan is a Consultant in child & adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. She holds specialist qualifications in both Hong Kong and Australia, and has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in both places. She was the honorary clinical assistant professor in Psychiatry of the Chinese University of Hong Kong before her relocation to Sydney.

With a robust background in child and adult mental health, she is expertly qualified to manage complex clinical presentations with neurodevelopmental disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders. Her diverse clinical repertoire also encompasses addiction psychiatry, psychotherapy and forensic psychiatry, ensuring a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
