Our Services

Prepregnancy Planning

Prepregnancy planning is essential to give your child the best possible start to life.

It is recommended that three months before trying to get pregnant, you visit your doctor for a general health check to ensure there are no preventable complications.

This may also involve a blood test to measure for vitamin or mineral deficiencies, thyroid issues and to check immunity for Varicella (Chickenpox) and Rubella (German measles).

Prenatal care

During pregnancy, regular check-ups and prenatal care are critical to giving yourself and your child the best possible health outcomes.

We recognise that each patient is an individual and has individual needs, our doctors will work with you to create a personalised care plan that considers your unique needs and medical history. We offer a wide range of services – including ultrasound, prenatal testing, dietetics and counseling.

The schedule of doctor visits during pregnancy, will look different for each patient, but a generic schedule may look something like the following:

Postpartum care

After childbirth, Nuvo Health can provide you with postpartum care to ensure that both mother and baby are healthy and well.

We also offer counseling services and breastfeeding support to ensure that new parents feel comfortable and confident in their new role.

Post-birth, the mother goes through many physical and emotional changes and challenges. It is important that your postpartum care plan involves ensuring proper rest, nutrition and support.

Baby Checkups

Regular, comprehensive checkups are necessary to make sure that your child is healthy and is achieving their growth milestones.

Nuvo provides comprehensive care for children of all ages, including vaccinations, immunisations, check-ups, diagnosis of illnesses and treatment of injuries.

Full details about child immunisation schedules can be found via the Department of Health and Ageing. After 4 years of age, vaccinations are given at school clinics but can be arranged through our clinics if requested.
