Anna Oborn – Psychologist
Anna has completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, and a Post Graduate Diploma of Science. She is a member of the APS and has undertaken further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Anna is a registered psychologist with over 19 years’ experience, who has worked in private hospitals and private practice with adults to address various mental health issues, interpersonal difficulties, workplace pressures, grief and loss, chronic pain and substance addiction. She has also worked with people from 18 years of age to the elderly from rural and remote areas using telehealth services. She specialises in a range of therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Positive Psychology and Schema Therapy. Anna has a compassionate and empathetic approach and is passionate in terms of empowering clients with coping skills, to find a sense of purpose and to navigate life's difficulties.
