Private Fees from 1st July 2026

We operate as Private billing practice.  There will be a reduced fee for children and patients with a valid concession Card. All other consultations will be privately charged, and with a valid Medicare card we can claim your rebate for you electronically without hassle.

Please note that our reception team cannot advise the exact fee you will be charged at the time of booking. The below fees and rebates are a guide only.

The doctor will determine the Medicare item number to be charged on the day of your appointment based on the Length and Complexity of your consultation.

A ‘Standard’ appointment is usually for one main issue/medical need.

A ‘Long’ appointment is usually for more than one issue/medical need.

A ‘Extended’ appointment is for several complex issues/medical needs.

Appointments on Public Holidays are considered premium services and will attract a $20 – $40 higher fee than weekday appointments.

    Non attendance Policy

Please note a Non-Attendance Fee of $20 is payable if a patient does not attend their doctors appointment or if the appointment is cancelled with less than one hours notice.

If a patient fails to give 48 hours notice or does not attend an allied health appointment, a Non-Attendance Fee of 50% of the consult fee will need to be paid.

    Vaccines & Procedural Fees

For all vaccination (travel, flu, etc.) and procedural costs please ask one of our friendly receptionists. Your doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent prior to receiving treatment.

Any consultations requiring additional services may be charged a procedural equipment fee of between $10 – $100.
Travel vaccines will incur a private fee also for the purchase of the vaccine as they are not covered by Medicare.

    Medicals Assessments

Pre-employment medical assessments and other medical assessments are also privately billed. The cost will depend on the length and complexity of the medical assessment.

Reception are able to give a price guide but cost will be determined by the doctor at time of consult.
