Dr Aanchal Shankar

Dr Shankar has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Macquarie University and completed her hospital training at Hornsby Hospital. She has interests in women's health, mental health, dermatology, and paediatrics. Dr Shankar has a Diploma in Child Health from Western Sydney University, and a Certificate of Women's Health from RANZCOG. She has trained with Family Planning NSW to insert and remove Implanon. Dr Shankar is also a certified continuation prescriber for ADHD medication.Inspired by the compassionate care of her childhood GP, Dr Shankar values long-term patient relationships and is committed to providing empathetic, holistic healthcare. She strives to make a positive difference in her patients’ lives.Dr Shankar speaks English and Hindi.
