Dr Abigail Dinnis

  Over her 20 years of clinical experience and nearly 15 years working as a GP, Abigail has developed a strong focus in Lifestyle Medicine. With a comprehensive understanding of how lifestyle factors impact overall health, she works with patients to implement evidence-based strategies that improve well-being and manage chronic disease through nutrition, exercise, stress-management and preventative care. She is passionate about supporting women through the complexities of the hormonal transitions of midlife, by combining medical expertise with lifestyle interventions helping patients achieve sustainable health outcomes. She believes the middle years offer a unique opportunity to reset, reimagine, and take control of your health, making it the perfect time to embrace changes for a better, more balanced future. Abigail graduated from Kings College London, UK in 2004. She completed her training in General Practice and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) in 2011. In 2017 she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is a shared Antenatal Healthcare Provider at the Royal Hospital for Women and is committed to supporting women in maintaining their physical and emotional well-being during pregnancy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 children, learning to surf and practising Pilates. She is in the process of completing her Mat Pilates Instructor Course.
