Dr Arany Nerminathan – Paediatrician

Dr. Nerminathan is a distinguished general paediatrician with extensive experience and a versatile skill set. She studied Medicine in London, and holds both the UK MRCPCH and the Australasian FRACP qualifications in paediatrics. She brings a unique blend of expertise from diverse healthcare systems. With 15 years of dedicated service at The Sydney Children's Hospital Network at Westmead (CHW), Dr. Nerminathan has been managing tertiary-level patients with complex comorbidities, including those with developmental issues as a consultant paediatrician. She oversaw the training of future paediatricians, as the Director of Paediatric Education with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr. Nerminathan continues her commitment to paediatric care in private practice, and works remotely with Victorian Health. Her clinical repertoire encompasses a wide spectrum of paediatric issues, ranging from asthma, allergies and eczema to developmental delay and suspected autism. She sees children and babies with all medical problems including difficulties gaining weight, or slow growth. Dr Nerminathan manages a number of children with ADHD (attention, concentration and hyperactivity), learning issues and anxiety and can work with families and schools to ensure children achieve their capacity. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care, collaborating closely with schools, local therapists, and the NDIS to ensure holistic support for children. With a passion for delivering patient and family-centred care, Dr. Nerminathan's expertise spans across all age groups, from neonates to adolescents.
