Dr Daniel Chanisheff is a founding doctor and Clinical Director of Green Square Health, and Clinical Lead at Nuvo Health Double Bay.

He brings the same approach to both clinics: proper time for each consult, the long view of his patients' health, and doing the right thing rather than the quick thing. He sees patients across all stages of life, with a particular focus on people who want a doctor they can work with over years — not just visits.

Skin work
Alopecia areata, keloid and hypertrophic scarring, and acne scar revision — including subcision, intralesional treatments, and cryotherapy.

Particular procedural expertise
Within general practice, Daniel has developed particular expertise in management of alopecia areata, treatment of keloid and hypertrophic scarring, management of bruxism and jaw grinding with botulinum toxin therapy, and clinical steroid injections for conditions including subacromial bursitis, knee osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and De Quervain's tenosynovitis. He also performs contraceptive implant insertion and removal — the small etonogestrel rod placed in the upper arm.

A note on golf
Daniel is also a keen golfer and sees patients for golf-related injury management and screening — one interest among several, rather than the headline.

Working with Daniel
Longer appointments are the default — because complex problems and preventative care can't be done in five-minute slots. If you only need something quick on the day, that works too, and Daniel won't charge for time he didn't use.
