Dr Janie Sim

Dr Sim graduated from University of Western Australia in 2001 with Honours. She has had over 25 years of experience as a medical doctor including 16 years in general practice. She has had additional training in women’s health and obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Sim also holds a Masters in Public Health from UNSW She enjoys all aspects of general practice and focusses on whole-patient care.

Outside of work, she is a busy mother of three children and enjoys spending time with her family and staying fit.

Her special interests include:

• Preconception counselling and fertility advice
• Antenatal shared care
• Hormone implant insertion and removal
• IUD removal
• Sexual health and PREP prescriptions
• Travel Medicine including Yellow fever vaccination
• Preventative Health
