Dr Shruti Kapila is a Consultant Cardiologist and Imaging Specialist

In 2003, Dr Kapila graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Science (Medicine).

She underwent Physicians training at Concord Hospital, and Cardiology Advanced training at Liverpool Hospital completing her Cardiology training with a Fellowship in Echocardiography at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst.

She undertook Cardiac CT training under Professor Stephan Achenbach, in Erlangen, Germany.

Her interests include diagnostic cardiology with a focus on non-invasive imaging, primary prevention of cardiovascular disease, and management of cardiovascular disease in women She is passionate about medical education, graduating from a Masters in Clinical Education from Flinders University in 2012.
