Dr Yanna Ko – Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist

Dr Yanna Ko is an accredited Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. Dr Ko is a compassionate clinician who has a passion for holistically improving gut health and overall wellbeing. She is the recipient of the prestigious NHMRC scholarship for her research into bowel disorders with a special focus on irritable bowel syndrome and the gut microbiome and is completing her phd.

Dr Ko has been awarded accreditation for gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. She also performs polypectomy, bowel cancer surveillance and haemorrhoid therapy. She manages all aspects of gastrointestinal and liver disorders, including motility/reflux/functional disorders, constipation, diarrhoea, bowel cancer surveillance and iron deficiency anaemia.

Dr Ko is also fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
