Zikra Armeda – Psychologist
Zikra is an authentic and transparent psychologist passionate about supporting adults as they navigate life’s complex challenges.
Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, neurodiverse-affirming, strengths-based, and client-centred, creating a safe and supportive space for meaningful healing. Known for being honest, open, and direct, Zikra helps clients feel seen and empowered throughout their journey.
Zikra works with adults (18+) across a wide range of concerns, including trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use, neurodiversity, identity support, emotional dysregulation, domestic and family violence, sexual violence, and LGBTIQA+ support.
As a somatic (body-based) therapist, she draws on a range of evidence-based frameworks such as Polyvagal Theory, Herman’s Trauma Recovery Model, Minority Stress Theory, CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, the Structural Dissociation Model, and Parts-informed models.
